HSE Assistant Professor of Philosophy, Aaron James Wendland, recently launched a popular philosophy column in a prominent British Magazine: The New Statesman. In this interview, we ask Aaron about his research interests, his experience at HSE, and the rationale behind his new column on popular philosophy.
The 2nd World Congress on Logic and Religion was held from June 18 to 22 in Warsaw. Researchers from HSE’s Moscow and Perm campuses took part in the event.
On July 29, 2017, the leading research fellow of the ML for the Study of Russian and European Intellectual Dialogue, Professor Wolfgang Kissel spoke at the 12th meeting of the seminar "Man in Modern Scientific Knowledge: Methodological Problems of Interdisciplinarity" in the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
On June 20, Professor Wolfgang Kissel, a leading research fellow of the IL for the Study of Russian and European Intellectual Dialogue, presented his report "From October Revolution to Soviet Civilization. On the emergence and transformation of a Stalinist discourse" in the National Research University Higher School of Economics in St. Petersburg.
